Treasuries Move Lower on Data


From Standard & Poor's Equity ResearchBond prices moved lower Thursday morning. The 10-year Treasury note was lower in price at 100-14/32 for a yield of 4.701%, while the 30-year Treasury bond was lower at 101-11/32 for a yield of 4.916%.

Action Economics reports that yields probed higher following the raft of data, with traders picking out the uptick in import prices and drop in jobless claims as the pertinent news, while the overdue narrowing of the trade gap was welcomed by the weak dollar.
