MotorStorm

For those who held off ordering the Japanese import of MotorStorm for the PlayStation 3, prepare to be rewarded. The U.S. edition introduces online play, allowing twelve people to compete in a gruesome, muddy race, thus creating some serious vehicular chaos. The single-player racing holds up too, jam-packed with spectacular crashes, a rock-filled soundtrack and night racing that works surprisingly well without headlights. Not enough racing maps and too few in-game options mar the game's overall outlook but in spite of these blemishes—getting dirty never felt this good.
