Losing Vowels and Bubbles
I am intrigued by Tumblelogs, a type of mini-blog that mixes shorter text, photos, quotes and links. Evolutions in the type of blogs you can do are always intriguing to me.
But I am worried about Tumblr, a service that enables you to do Tumblelogs. Where's the vowel E?
Does its disappearance signal the deflating of the Web 2.0 bubble, the way that capitalizing letters in the middle of company names was the leading indicator that the dot com explosion was nigh?

flickr, talkr, mappr. i'm sure there's more. add a "pod" or just an "i" to the front and you've covered a bigger bubble. ... watch for my new products iguzzlr and podswiggr coming out in time for x.mas.
