This winter, Electronic Arts looks to deliver a "dipsy-doo dunk-a-roo" with NCAA March Madness 07. Instead of copying NBA Live 07's stale formula, developer EA Canada rewards players for performing flashy dunks, steals and ankle breaking crossovers. Terrorizing opponents causes a Team Intensity Meter to rise, and once it maxes out, players raise the morale of the fans as well as the team by chest bumping the mascot, leading the band and dancing with cheerleaders. Authentic college chants, fight songs and arenas compliment the b-ball action, while commentators Dick Vitale and Brad Nessler offer their expertise. Excessive fouls create a strange stop and go experience, but thus far, EA's game looks "awesome baby!"
