Amazon's Video Download Service Unmasked?

Rob Hof

Alan Taylor discovered what appears to be a beta site for Amazon's widely expected video download service, which looks like it's called Amazon Unbox. Taylor, a former Amazonian, clearly did some nice sleuthing. Since I'm kind of on vacation, I haven't been able to do some checking myself, but on the face of it, the service looks just as crippled by DRM and other restrictions as the other services out there, like CinemaNow. Mainly, there's no easy way to get this stuff to your TV. C'mon.

I might be wrong but looks to me like yet another online service that isn't that cheap and doesn't let you watch the stuff on a TV.
