Monster House

Monster House has its resemblances to Rare's Xbox release Grabbed By the Ghoulies, as you play a group of kids who find themselves taking on terrors that pop up all over a monstrous dwelling. However, this one's better suited for the young game-playing crowd, and gives them fairly easy (and fun) shooting action. The presentation isn't spectacular but is faithful to the movie, and the inclusion of the arcade-like Thou Art Dead is a nice touch. It's still just a rental at best, something that would've been remedied with multiplayer or, perhaps, a monster neighborhood. Maybe with the sequel, I suppose...
