Superman Returns to Play

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! No, it's a plane! No, it's what looks to be a decent Superman game for a change! After a string of game releases that were about as likable as a kryptonite sweater, it looks like the Man of Steel is finally getting some justice with the forthcoming Superman Returns game from EA. The game looks to provide many different tasks for the S-man to complete, and not just pithy little tasks to move the story along, but meaty missions that have you doing everything from saving lives to battling enormous enemies. The game also looks pretty good thus far, and will have the star power of the actors from the film to keep the dialogue peppy. Superman Returns should be ready to take flight later this year, probably to coincide with the inevitable DVD release.
