Agent says hostage book could be big: Duh!

An literary agent who wants to represent freed hostage Jill Carroll says that her book, if she chooses to write one, would be big. I have no reason to disagree. But what do they expect the agent to say? That her book will be a niche product? Interestingly, this is the same agent who represented serial liar Jason Blair. He may well be a terrific agent. But if Carroll picks him, Blair's name will pop up in all the coverage.
