God of War Snubbed, Colossus Wins Big


Colossus also won awards for top character design, game design, visual arts and innovation. Guitar Hero also won awards for innovation (three were given) and audio. Nintendogs was recognized for its innovation, as well as its technology.

Double Fine deservingly won two awards, one for writing in Psychonauts, and another for best new studio, beating out nominees including Guild Wars studio ArenaNet and Alexander Seropian's Wideload Games.
