New Ideas For Innovation And Design

Bruce Nussbaum

Thanks to Mark Vanderbeeken and his blog, Putting People First, for putting me on to Developing Leaders for Innovation. This is great minisite of Patrick Whitney's Illinois Institute of Design. It has lots of examples of student and faculty work in using new tools and methods to get at user experiences and design in general.

IID is doing sophisticated work in creating software tools gather and analyze consumer data. Click around and you'll see a piece on Analysis and Transformation: "a software tool for dveloping structural insights out of complex information," behavioral prototyping, "a method for gaining insights from users early in the development process by analyzing behavior...," and more.
