The Google Bash at Davos
Back from the Google fete at the Kirchner Museum. It was the top party of the evening, although the Infosys/Indian party was a very close second. While walking to the museum, I passed the one and only protest sign spotted at the World Economic Forum. The sign said "World Error Forum." WEF, get it? Everyone is talking about the lack of any major globalization protest. Appears they miss it.
At the Google Bash, actor Michael Douglas was waxing eloquently about something (the place was so loud I couldn't hear much). One overheard comment that I did pick up was--"we met in Mumbai in November." Seemed apt. The Google guys were there, of course. Mark Vamos, editor-in-chief of Fast Company and old friend was also there.
I had my first glass of Margaux 79. And my second. Made me dream of becoming a wealthy high tech entrepreneur.
Saturday are CEO panels on innovation and creativity led by Roger Martin, Tim Brown and me--Prepping for the Creative Economy. There are two other sessions on operationalizing innovation. Bill Clinton speaks. Then the India Night soiree. Davos does Bollywood.

I can feel your excitement. Can anyone go to Davos who can pay the $18,000 admission? Looking forward to your notes from Creative Economy and optomizing innovation sessions.
