The 10-year Treasury notes fell 05/32 to 99-19/32 for yield of 4.557%. The 30 year yields were up to 4.748%.
All eyes watched the Fed. The FOMC has already raised rates 12 times since 2004, in an effort to control inflation by making debt more expensive.
Investors also waited for reports Tuesday on November Retail Sales and October Business Inventories.
