Google and teen mixing for content.
Boingboing points to a new Pew study that shows teens are totally into creating their own content by mixing, remixing and blogging. They are way ahead of any other demographic.
According to Pew "Fully half of all teens and 57% of teens who use the internet could be considered Content Creators. They have created a blog or webpage, posted original artwork, photography, stories or videos online or remixed online content into their own new creations.
Teens are often much more enthusiastic authors and readers of blogs than their adult counterparts. Teen bloggers, led by older girls, are a major part of this tech-savvy cohort. Teen bloggers are more fervent internet users than non-bloggers and have more experience with almost every online activity in the survey."
Teens probably have few problems with Google scanning books into its servers, under copyright or not. They had no problems with music. We are at the point of some very interesting conversations.

Those conversations are already engaged in quite a few communities including those that are engaged in these activities. I've tried to get industrial designers to discuss these issues... unfortunately with little success. This goes beyond text on the page. Try this.
