Treasuries were higher Thursday after an afternoon rally on tanking stock and reversal in oil prices, according to Informa. The Nasdaq closed at a six-month low, and oil prices rallied up to $51.77 in the afternoon. Earlier on in the day, treasuries rallied on softer GDP data and higher weekly jobless claims, according to Informa. Headline GDP came in at the expected 3.1% after Street economists made adjustments. The 10-year yield were pushed to a two-month low of 4.17%, according to S&P MarketScope.
