Webster Financial Agrees to Acquire FirstFed American

FirstFed American Bancorp (FAB) agrees to be acquired by Webster Financial Corp. (WBS) in deal valued at about $465 million. Terms: $24.50 per FAB share in cash, or 0.5954 WBS share per FAB share. (10/7)
