Please join us for a live chat on Monday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. EST.
Our guest will be Jennifer Merritt, management education editor at BusinessWeek, who will discuss the magazine's first-ever, exclusive survey of 1,500 members of the MBA class of 1992 at 30 top schools.
The purpose of the survey was to determine how far those grads have come since B-school -- and how satisfied they are, in retrospect, with their B-school education. The results will give you plenty to ponder, inasmuch as the class of 1992 graduated into an economy that was similar to the one that has greeted the classes of 2002 and 2003.
Here's just a hint of how things turned out: Many of these grads are top execs, including a number of CEOs and directors. The entrepreneurs who participated in the survey now have some 98,000 employees. And of course, a few of the 1992 grads are currently unemployed.
To get some answers to the question "What's An MBA Really Worth?" please join Jennifer Merritt (JMerrittBW) at 1 p.m. EST on Monday, Sept. 15. Your co-hosts will be Brian Hindo (HindoBW) and Mica Schneider (MicaBW), BW Online's reporters covering management education. Hope to see you there!
BusinessWeek Online rotates chat days and times every month so that everyone has a chance to tune in. If you can't attend a live event, you can always read the transcript that we post afterward.
