The Dough in Trading with Cuba

By Cynthia Carris Alonso The workers at the state-owned Haricub wheat mill in Regla, Cuba, were tired but happy on July 24. They had been working all night baking bread with a newly arrived shipment of spring wheat from North Dakota. The wheat was part of a 15,000-ton shipment that also included barley, flour, and green and yellow peas.
