Bear Stearns Ups Activision Estimates

Bear Stearns Raised its estimates on video-game maker Activision (ATVI).

Analyst Marina Jacobson raised her $0.63 fiscal 2001 (March) EPS estimate to $0.74, and raised her $0.66 fiscal 2002 EPS estimate to $0.76 to reflect Activision's expected strength in the next-generation video game cycle. She maintained her buy rating on the belief that the game manufacturer will continue to leverage the strength of its mass-market titles and be able to transfer these same brands to next-generation consoles. She raised her $20 12-15 month price target to $25-$30.
