COMMENTARY

A wild, unpredictable ride in the market this week. On April 14, due to

inflation fears the Nasdaq and the Dow suffered their biggest one-day point

drops ever. But on April 17 and 18 the market roared back, led by record

Nasdaq point gains. For the week, the Dow was down 4%, the Nasdaq Composite

Index down 1.7% and the S&P 500 down 2.7%.
