Small Virtues

Let's be honest here: Small-company execs have more business integrity than their counterparts at bigger companies. That's assuming you can believe what researchers at the conservative Hudson Institute say after their survey of 2,293 employees on bosses' honesty and personal ethics. This perception may be based more on how often leaders are seen rather than how they actually act. However, in small companies, "people see the day-to-day decisions made by a leader," opines pollster Jeff Marr. "The values of the leadership are more visible and under scrutiny."Edited by Dennis BermanReturn to top
