COMMENTARY
Wall Streeters began to back off on their idea that the Aug. 24 Fed hike was
the last for the year. The bond market sold off, sending long-term rates back
over 6%. The quick change in sentiment hurt stocks as well. After setting a
new high of 11,326 on Aug. 25, the Dow Jones Industrials jumped around over
the next week, with an average move of 120 points a day.
