Commentary
The market ended the week with a sigh of relief. After the Federal Reserve's
much-anticipated interest rate increase of 25 basis points on Tuesday, the Dow
Jones Industrial Average hit new highs. And the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq
Composite finished the week at their highest levels since mid-July. The bond
market also rallied, with the 30-year Treasury bond at its lowest level since
the end of May.
