BOEING PRODUCTION TAKES WING

WITH A RECORD 61 DELIVERIES IN JUNE, Boeing is finally starting to recover from its production problems. Factory snafus forced it to shut down lines and take more than $2 billion in charges in the past nine months. But now the aerospace company expects to deliver an average of 50 planes a month for the rest of the year, compared with 41 a month on average in the first half. Aerospace analyst Joseph Campbell of Lehman Brothers says it's good to know Boeing can get the planes out the door, but now it must boost its net profit margins, currently under 3%.EDITED BY KELLEY HOLLAND
