In "The CEO and the board" (Cover Story, Sept. 15), BUSINESS WEEK erred on the date of a tribute to former House Speaker Thomas S. Foley. It occurred in 1989, not 1996. It was held under the auspices of The American Ireland Fund, of which Anthony J.F. O'Reilly is chairman and co-founder.
