VIRTUAL REALITY'S LEAPS AND BOUNDS

Much of the data used in your article "Seasick in cyberspace" (Science & Technology, July 10) is dated, most significantly your account of a prototype headset developed by Sega more than two years ago. I believe your readers would have been better served if you focused on current VR products on the market and in development. VR technology has come a long way in the past few years, and it should be recognized for what it is today, not what it was yesterday.
