TWIN WOES AT GEMINI

TURMOIL CONTINUES TO pound once-booming Gemini Consulting. Chief Executive Daniel Valentino was ousted on July 6, say sources inside the firm, amid reports that revenues could plummet 20% or more in 1995, down from last year's $551 million (BW--June 26). Gemini denies that Valentino was forced out, and Valentino was unavailable for comment. Pierre Hessler, vice-president of Gemini's Paris parent, Sogeti, has been named interim CEO. Hessler needs to find a permanent replacement quickly to stem a tide of defections. "I'm getting more unsolicited resumes from Gemini than any other consulting firm in the U.S.," reports executive recruiter Peter Meder.EDITED BY KEITH H. HAMMONDS
