CHIMP RESEARCH: DON'T SWING IT OVER TO MAN

Gingrich's application of Frans de Waal's observations ("Manager see, manager do," The Corporation, Apr. 3) merely demonstrates their validity within a society of monkeys. It does not guarantee their successful extrapolation to species higher on the evolutionary chain than the professional politician.
