WHO HAS MULTIMEDIA BRAGGING RIGHTS? (int'l. edition)
Your article "Manhattan turns into `Silicon Alley"' (Information Processing, Jan. 30) can only be described as hype. Although the multimedia industry is growing in Manhattan, it is growing everywhere else in the universe as well. In the 1994 Carronade Group Multimedia Directory, more than 66% of the companies profiled had California addresses. New York was a distant second with only 7% of the listed companies.
