CORRIGAN MOVES TO THE GIANT SCREEN

Robert Corrigan, 54, who in May resigned as president of IBM's $11 billion Personal Computer company, thinks he has a future with the big screen. On Sept. 13, Corrigan signed on as CEO of Toronto-based Imax, the leader in giant-screen motion-picture technology. While Imax had revenues of just $41 million in the first half of 1993, Corrigan says he has ambitious plans for expanding sales of its big-screen theaters and simulator rides.EDITED BY THANE PETERSON
