IT'S NOT JUST FOGEYS WHO DIG THE DIGEST
Our company has attracted millions of younger customers, contrary to your story ("The Digest develops a taste for TV drama," Top of the News, Sept. 13). For example, Reader's Digest has over 13.6 million U.S. readers ages 18 to 34, which is third in this age group among all consumer magazines.
Another example: Among the 4.6 million readers of American Health, one of our special-interest magazines, 70% are ages 18 to 49, and more than a third have children under 6.
Also, Reader's Digest has about 13 million more readers than Modern Maturity (50 million vs. 37 million).
