AN AIRFARE BREAK OUT OF BALTIMORE

Southwest Airlines' East Coast invasion has begun. The airline announced on July 14 that it will start service from Baltimore-Washington International with fares to Chicago and Cleveland well below rivals'. A one-way to Cleveland will sell for just $49. A trip to Chicago's Midway will go for $89. Continental slashed its fares to the two cities the daybefore. EDITED BY JULIE TILSNER
