PROFESSOR MILKEN?

Michael Milken is back, and he wants to be liked. The former Drexel junk-bond titan, done with a two-year jail sentence for securities fraud, wants to spiff up his image, says a spokeswoman. It surely needs spiffing. That explains his first television interview, coming June 11, with Barbara Walters on ABC's 20/20. He has been seen debating economic policy with visiting White House Scholars, and last week, Milken took to the podium at the University of California at Los Angeles to teach an MBA class for old friend David Murdock, chairman of Dole Food. The subject of his oratory: creativity in business. Milken's spokeswoman says a full-time teaching job at UCLA could be in the works.EDITED BY JULIE TILSNER
