ROD CANION HANGS OUT HIS SHINGLE
Nine months after his ouster from Compaq Computer, the company's co-founder, Joseph "Rod" Canion, has formed a consulting firm to advise companies on management and high-tech issues. Canion's new Houston-based venture, Insource Management Group, will use experts from computer services, business operations, and employee management. So far, the firm has no clients, but Canion says a first contract is in the offing.EDITED BY HARRIS COLLINGWOOD
