Turn Your Business Green

Posted by: Rod Kurtz on November 6, 2007

Take small steps when taking your business green. Doing small things can make a big difference in the long run. One idea is to try to see how many places you can eliminate paper. Instead of making a paper copy, scan a document and save it digitally. Get your faxes through e-mail and print them only if needed. Explore electronic invoicing and bill payment. Instead of accepting brochures at trade shows or sales meetings, visit the vendor’s Web site. Resist the temptation to print documents for review if you can transfer them electronically to a PDA or laptop.
