Change Your Mind

The key to turning a losing situation into a winning one is to change your mind about it. We do our best work, with the least stress, when we enjoy or appreciate our task. That’s difficult when we see something as a nasty situation. Research shows highly effective leaders deliberately replace negative beliefs with a positive structure. Using, for example, a puzzle or game framework, what was originally viewed as a "grind" can now promote curiosity, fascination, possibilities, and new outcomes.

Fierce or challenging situations are begging to be reconsidered in new ways. Pick a framework that fits your thorny situation and has heart for you. Then the solutions will begin to appear as fast as you can imagine them.
