People Are Your Most Important Asset

Don’t settle for second best when hiring people to represent your business to customers. When you have a front-office opening, review the skills and personality needed for the job, take the time to do multiple candidate interviews, thoroughly check applicant backgrounds, and articulate your vision of ideal customer-handling skills to candidates. The quality of your product/service won’t make up for lack of customer savoir faire. Make the time to find, hire, and train the right people to represent you and set yourself apart from the competition. Keep in mind that this is the critical customer touch point.
