Give Your Company Some Wiggle Room

Don’t spend your time creating marketing and new business materials in the first year — focus instead on your client relationships. In the first two years, our company tripled its revenue and doubled our client base. You can’t predict what sort of growth you’ll hit, and what sort of clients you’ll work with, so remain diverse in your thinking and diverse in your answers. Keep your marketing materials flexible.
