Carpe Diem

I say don’t do tomorrow what you can do today. I try to live by that. I succeed most times, but I’m not perfect. I wish more people in business had this attitude. Everyone always says, “I’ll do it tomorrow, I’m working on it.” Don’t tell me that. I want to know when it’s done.

There is also something to be said for "Don't do today what you may not have to do tomorrow" - a lot of time, effort and expense is wasted by well-meaning, but strategically challenged, managers trying to get things done just for the sake of it.
