Be Patient and Don't Get Discouraged

Posted by: Rod Kurtz on October 3, 2005

Client relations and communication are my two most important priorities. I constantly remind myself to really listen to my clients and show a sincere interest in what they need. That relationship is not going to build over one day, it takes patience and persistence over a long period of time. I don’t get discouraged because I know that an opportunity to do business with that client may not happen today or tomorrow, but it will come back around eventually.

I treat every potential client the way I want to be treated... No Pressure! You can't strong arm a potential client into paying for your services. If you treat them with respect, answer their questions, and speak to them they way you want to be spoken to, you can hang up the phone feeling confident that they will return. Even if they don't, they're more likely to tell someone else about your company. The word gets around, but nothing gets around faster than a negative word.
