A Note on America's Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs
Posted by: John Tozzi on May 3, 2010
Back in February and March, we asked you to suggest companies for us to profile in our second annual report on America’s Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs. We got nearly 200 suggestions from readers, entrepreneurs, and leaders in the social enterprise world.
Though we had originally planned to publish the 25 finalists May 4, we’re going to take some more time to consider all the promising companies that you suggested. We’ll publish the finalists later this month, and then give you a chance to vote for which ones you think are the best.
We’ve got other projects in the works as well. On May 6 we’ll bring you a look at the fastest growing businesses in America’s inner cities, the second year of our partnership with the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City. Check back at Businessweek.com/small-business/ for more. And as always, thanks for reading, commenting, and participating.
