Sibling Business Partners

Posted by: Stacy Perman on June 8, 2009

I’m working on a story about business partnerships and am interested in talking to individuals who have gone into business with their siblings. Do you have a business with your brother or sister or both? How is it going? Or did you once upon a time partner with your sibling(s) and later dissolved the business? I’d like to hear from you. Feel free to send a comment via this blog or directly to my email:

My Mother and I have started our own business. In fact it was my first job out of high school. We started a home health agency from our kitchen table and grew it unbelievably for more than 10 years together then sold it to my mothers best friend. Company is huge still in south florida. I think as long as the interest is both there and your relationship is a good one it can be great. I know I learned so much from it that we actually didn't stop at one, we have had two more companies together since the first.
