Last Call for Entrepreneur of the Year Nominations

The nomination period for Ernst & Young’s renowned Entrepreneur of the Year award wraps up this Monday, March 16. The criteria is pretty straightforward: you have to be an owner or manager of a public or private company that’s a least two years old. Looks like we are going to have to invent ourselves out of this mess. One third of US GDP is produced by companies that were created after 1980. Almost all new jobs are created in firms that are less than five years old. These figures show that innovation is the primary driver of new hiring.
