Azerbaijan plans to spend 2.2 billion manat ($2.8 billion) on industrial and power generation projects in the next four years, Interfax-Azerbaydzhan reported, citing a government official it didn’t identify.
The projects include building and modernizing power, waste- recycling, fertilizer and chemical plants, Interfax said. The government will spend 266.2 million manat in the next year, 579.2 million manat in 2014, 690 million manat in 2015 and 680 million manat in 2016, the news service said.
