Syria Vote, IPhone, Dell, China Cars: Week Ahead Sept. 9-14

The U.S. Congress may vote on whether to authorize military strikes against Syria in the coming week.

Apple Inc. (AAPL:US) will unveil an update to the iPhone 5 and a lower-cost model aimed at customers in emerging markets.

Dell Inc. shareholders (DELL:US) will vote on whether to approve founder Michael Dell’s $29.4 billion buyout bid.

Chinese inflation in August probably slowed to 2.6 percent, and U.S. retail sales probably rose faster in that month than in July, data may show.

Norway plans to hold general elections.
