Romanian Utility Seeks Bids for Water Upgrades in Valcea County

Apavil SA, a Romanian utility, is seeking bids for water-treatment plant improvements in the southern county of Valcea under a contract valued at 28.6 million lei ($8 million).

Bidders may apply by Aug. 14 for the 28-month contract, which includes upgrades to plants in the towns of Dragasani, Olanesti and Valea lui Stan, according to a procurement notice published today on the European Union’s tender website.
