Italy’s 10-Year Bonds Stay Higher After Nation Auctions Debt

Italian 10-year government bonds stayed higher as the nation sold 4.9 billion euros debt due in 2016 and 2028.

The 10-year bond yield fell two basis points to 4.37 percent at 10:23 a.m. London time. Two-year yields were little changed at 1.73 percent.

Spanish 10-year securities also rose, with the yield declining two basis points to 4.61 percent.
