Consolidated Edison Acquires 50% of Two Sempra Solar Projects

Consolidated Edison Inc. (ED:US) agreed to acquire stakes in two solar farms that Sempra Energy (SRE:US) is building in Nevada and Arizona.

The two companies will each own 50 percent of the 150-megawatt Copper Mountain 2 project near Las Vegas and the 150-megawatt Mesquite Solar 1 power plant near Phoenix, San Diego-based Sempra said in a statement today. Terms weren’t disclosed.
