Pentair Shareholders Approve Almost 9% Rise in Dividend Payment

Pentair Ltd. (PNR:US), a water filtration company, said today that shareholders approved an almost 9 percent dividend increase.

Quarterly dividends will rise to 25 cents a share from 23 cents and be paid for the third and fourth quarters of this year and the first two quarters on 2014, the company said in a statement. The stock has gained almost 27 percent the past year.

The company, which merged last year with Tyco International Ltd.’s flow-control busines, is incorporated in Switzerland for tax reasons with its main offices in Minneapolis.
