Goldman Sachs Copper Trader David Freeland Said to Leave Bank

David Freeland left his job as a copper trader at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS:US), according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter.

Freeland left this week, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the information hasn’t been made public. Freeland joined Goldman more than a year ago from Trafigura Beheer BV.

Sophie Bullock, a spokeswoman for Goldman in London, declined to comment.
