Turkey Receives Spot LNG Cargo From Yemen at Aliaga Port

Turkey’s port of Aliaga is receiving a spot cargo of liquefied natural gas from Yemen, according to ship-tracking data.

The BW GDF Suez (GSZ) Paris, with a capacity of 162,524 cubic meters, arrived March 9 at Aliaga where Turkey’s EgeGaz LNG has a LNG regasification terminal.

The tanker sailed from Yemen’s Balhaf LNG terminal where it loaded its cargo and departed Feb. 26, according to ship transmissions captured by IHS Inc. (IHS:US) on Bloomberg.

Turkey’s Botas International Ltd. has LNG supply contracts with Nigeria and Algeria, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
